Leader in Training (LIT) Program

Leader in Training (LIT) Program Description

The Leader in Training (LIT) program is designed for youth ages 12+ who have a genuine interest in working with children and developing their leadership skills. Through hands-on experience, LITs will help plan, lead, and participate in engaging activities for children ages 4–12.

This program offers valuable opportunities for personal growth, helping participants build confidence, make a meaningful impact in children’s lives, and take their first steps toward future employment. As part of a team, LITs will also create lasting friendships and unforgettable memories while working together during HVNA programs.

LITs collaborate closely with HVNA staff; fellow LITs, Program Leaders, and the Program Coordinator, and report directly to the Community Engagement Coordinator.

Please visit the “Get Involved” tab for more information.
