Our HVNA After School Program (ASP) is funded through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport. This funding helps to support organizations in providing quality programs focused on healthy and active lifestyles for children and youth in neighbourhoods across the province.

The After School Program is a registered program, offered for children in Grades 1- 5 to participate. It is $400/participant for the school year (Sep-Jun), or $200/session (Sep-Dec) & (Jan-Jun).This program runs Monday to Thursday between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m at Hespeler Arena – Beehive Hall and follows the school year calendar. Each year, the program helps children and youth develop active lifestyles, learn about healthy eating habits and develop positive social-emotional wellbeing. A typical day at ASP offers participants a variety of active games and skill-based development activities that are accessible to all children. These activities work to develop self-confidence, build constructive relationships, and teach teamwork.
