Program Details:

Age: 2.5+

Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Monday to Thursday (Weekly)
Cost: $15.00/day
Deposit: $60 deposit upon registration (online)

Length: Kinder Kids is a 10-month, consistent school-year program. The goal is for each participant to start in September and finish through June to fully engage with the curriculum.

Program Overview:

At Kinder Kids, we understand that preschool-age children love to explore and learn through play. Our program focuses on developing fine and gross motor skills, cognitive abilities, and social-emotional development through a play-based curriculum.

Children in our program:

• Engage in dramatic and sensory play
• Learn through different activity centres in the classroom
• Focus on early literacy skills, including name recognition, learning to write their first name, and an introduction to letters, letter sounds, and numbers
• Explore shapes, colours, and patterns

We celebrate various holidays and special events throughout the year, such as:

• Birthdays (including half birthdays for summer children)
• Halloween family costume dance party
• Christmas mini concert and potluck
• Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and Mother’s/Father’s Day
• Fun event days like Crazy Hair Day, PJ Day, and Backwards Day
• Special visits from community helpers during our Community Helpers unit
• End of Year Celebration:
  At the end of the year, we host a graduation ceremony for our graduates or for children moving on to Year 2 of Kinder Kids. We also try to go on 1-2 field trips per year, such as trips to the library, fire station, or a local farm.
