The HVNA Adult Fitness Program is hosted 2-3 times a week out of the Hespeler Arena- Beehive Hall. During our program, participants can try and experience a variety of workout techniques ranging from HIIT, Pilates and Yoga workout styles.

Hespeler Village Neighbourhood Association offers a variety of programs to benefit the Hespeler communuty. We offer a range of programs with a focus on recreation for early years children, youth, adults and families!

After School Program (ASP)
ASP Program Description
A typical day at ASP offers participants a variety of active games and skill-based development activities that are accessible to all children. These activities work to develop self-confidence, build constructive relationships, and teach teamwork.
Busy Bee Bags
Busy Bee Bags Program Description
HVNA’s Busy Bee Bags Program was created to help keep children busy and have fun while staying at home. Our Busy Bee Bags include a wide variety of activities and each month, there are activities available for children aged 3-12.
Book Club
Book Club Program Description
The HVNA book club is one of our newest Adult Programs. Our HVNA Book Club is run through our Facebook page, it is a private group connected to our main page. Each Book Club session, members vote on the book they would like to read. Once a book is chosen, a reading schedule is posted and then members vote on the best time for a virtual book club meeting.
Boys Night
Boys Night Program Description
Boys are able to participate in the weekly activities, have a positive space to hang out with their peers, meet new friends and be active. Weekly activities include Mario Kart, DIY projects, board games, karaoke, sports, Fear Factor, Minute to Win It games, and so much more!
Girls Night
Girls Night Program Description
Each week, girls meet to participate in the weekly activities, spend time with their friends in a positive environment, meet new friends and build strong relationships with the Girls Night program leaders.
Homegrown in Hespeler
Homegrown in Hespeler Program Description
Homegrown in Hespeler is an initiative of HVNA’s to promote gardening. Whether it’s a pot or a field, we use our Facebook group to exchange gardening tips and tricks. In this group, you will see information on seed swaps, bulk purchasing, resource sharing, DIY’s, gardening in Hespeler’s soil and climate and much more!
Kinder Kids
Kinder Kids Program Description
Children in our Kinder Kids program learn through play. By learning through play, with the different centres set up around the classroom, they will develop fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills and social and emotional skills. We focus on name recognition, learning how to write their first name, oral, visual and writing introduction to letters, letter sounds and what words begin with each letter. We also introduce numbers, shapes and colours along with learning different patterns.
Leader in Training (LIT) Program
Leader in Training (LIT) Program Description
Leader in Training (LIT) is a leadership program for youth ages 13+ that have a genuine desire to work with children and develop their leadership skills. As a group, LITs will create unforgettable memories and lasting friendships as they work together during programs with HVNA. As individuals, each LIT will grow in confidence, make a difference in kids’ lives, and be on their way to potential employment in the future.
Virtual Kinder Kids
Virtual Kinder Kids Program Description
We have taken our ever-popular Kinder Kids program and adapted it to a 30-45 minute online learning program, which runs Tuesday to Thursday. During this online program, your child will engage with friends, dance, sing and learn!
Playgroup
Playgroup Program Description
Bring your little ones, and come join other parents and caregivers in the Hespeler area for a fun-filled morning of play and socializing. We will have lots of toys, books and fun, as both the children and their grown-ups build connections and lasting friendships.
Pop-Up Play
Pop-Up Play Program Description
HVNA’s new Pop-Up Play events were held twice a week throughout the summer. We offered a large range of activities promoting physical activity, creativity and learning. Some of the activities offered this summer included: a Mini Bike Rodeo, clay painting, water balloon toss, scavenger hunts, planting kits and much more!
Summer Fun Camp
Summer Fun Camp Program Description
One of our most popular programs is our HVNA Summer Fun Camp. Each year, HVNA hosts a Junior, Youth and Preteen camp jam-packed with amazing trips, crafts and activities! Our Summer Fun Camp is a day camp that runs from 9:00am-3:00pm, with extended care available from 3:00pm-5:30pm.
